Dressings, bandages have become ever more sophisticated, many encompassing anti infective agents as well as serving as a protective barrier to allow a wound to heal.  More recently, hospitals have introduced tissue viability nurses to specialise in woundacre.  This consistent with other progressive moves to develop clinical nurse specialists in many areas of clinical care.

You will be selling mainly to nurses in a variety of hospital departments including A & E, dermatology and Care of the elderley.   These roles are often ideal for people looking to enter healthcare jobs for the first time.  Ideally you will have some sales background and an understanding of the woundcare sales role.

Although salaries are perhaps at the lower end for healthcare sales jobs, sales structures are probably larger than others meaning that there will likely be greater opportunities for development and progression.
