Fear for pharmaceutical jobs as the industry rumbles!

Hold on to your hats as the industry appears to have entered another period of dramatic change with an unprecendented number of pharmaceutical companies announcing a downsizing of their sales teams. From jobs in Medical sales through sales management, all personel in pharmaceutical jobs are considering the impact on future stability.

The changes seem to signal a move away from the 'buddy medical rep' style teams which have flourished in recent years back to the true territory manager model of for medical sales in the 80's and early 90's. As the NHS continues to develop, the pathways to develop medical sales have become ever more sophisticated with many Sales Directors moving towards a more strategic approach with fewer sales people......
