BioSpace Career Fair Draws Record Number of Bioscience Candidates
A BioSpace career fair in San Diego drew a record number of Biosciene Candidates.
The leading biotech job fair in America attracted over 800 biotechnology and pharmaceutical job seekers.
Of the 800 people who turned up, many were well-qualified biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical and diagnostics careers candidates from around southern California.
The event offered jobs to cater for all types of candidates by a number of organisations. Some of the organisations included Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Illumina and Pfizer Global Research & Development.
BioSpace are said to have handled the event superbly and had pre screened all of the 800 candidates in attendance. Each of the candidates CV’s and skill sets were entered into a database, which the recruiting organisations in attendance could search through to draw up a shortlist of their preferred candidates.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the name BioSpace, they are one of the most globally recognised providers of career solutions in the bio technology and pharmaceutical sectors.
